THIS CREATES AN INVISIBLE BARRIER FOR WOMEN TO FACE TO ACHIEVE EQUALITY, ESPECIALLY IN MALE DOMINATED STEM FIELDS.

AS OF 2024, NO COUNTRY HAS YET TO ACHIEVE GENDER EQUALITY. WITH THIS SLOW PROGRESS, IT WILL TAKE

FOR WOMEN AND MEN TO HAVE EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES AND TREATMENT IN THE WORKFORCE.

OUR SIGNIFICANCE

Confidence gaps for girls and women in STEM affect the current female representation in STEM workforce [29.4%].

While young girls and boys initially share equal belief in their potential to succeed in STEM careers, a report reveals that three-quarters of teen girls experience a stagnation in confidence, leading them to doubt their abilities.
